British People Put Last: University Budget Cut as Foreign Aid Increases

The insane Labour and Tory plan to always put British people last has been underlined with the slashing of the university budget by £533 million while foreign aid expenditure continues to increase.

According to Business Secretary “Lord” Mandelson, the Government is to cut university funding by £533 million next year. This confirms already announced cuts of £180 million and £83 million but adds a further £270 million budget reduction.

“Lord” Mandelson said the cuts would reduce the number of student places at British universities. According to some experts, this means there will be at least 70,000 less places for British kids next year at university.

While British people are being punished in this fashion, the Tory and Labour-supported (and “ring fenced”) foreign aid handout continues unabated.

On 18 December, Welsh Environment Minister Jane Davidson announced that the Welsh Assembly Government was giving £75,000 to the Mbale region of Uganda to “help prepare the area for the impacts of climate change.”

The cash grant was matched by the Department for International Development (DFID) to the tune of £100,000.

On 17 December, the DFID gave £1.25 million to an “international health links scheme” which provides “advanced technology” via the Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust to the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre in Tanzania.

On 16 December, the DFID announced that the “world’s poorest nations will be thrust to the forefront of the global green energy revolution with the help of a £50 million commitment from the UK Government.”

On 3 December, the DFID announced that it was giving £2.97 million to Jamaica. The money will be used to fund a scheme in which West Indies cricketer Courtney Walsh will run cricket clinics for young black kids convicted of crimes in that country.

On 19 November the DFID gave £34 million to Pakistan to provide “humanitarian aid and rebuild businesses and agriculture” in the North West Frontier Province and South Waziristan in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas.

In addition, a further £10 million was allocated to “help rebuild infrastructure, stimulate the economy and improve local agriculture for displaced people returning home following the recent conflict.”

On 19 November, the DFID announced a £10 million grant to the “World Bank’s Global Road Safety Facility” which will “make roads safer and improve driving skills in some of the world’s poorest countries.”

On 18 November, the DFID announced a £34 million grant to an “emergency health programme” in Sierra Leone.

Meanwhile, British people face increasing budget cuts at home across all sectors, as exemplified by the university budget massacre.

Anyone who thought the Tories might be any better is in for a shock. The Conservatives have promised even more stringent cuts and have intimated that tax rises are in the offing — while at the same time demanding that the foreign aid budget be increased

One New Immigrant Patient Every Minute: How the Immigration Invasion Is Destroying the NHS

The liberal lie that “immigration is good for the NHS” has been exposed once again with the news that the health service is on the point of collapse as one new immigrant patient registers for its services every minute — and you pay for it.

According to a report compiled by independent think tank Migrationwatch, immigrants are registering with a GP for free healthcare at a rate of more than one every minute.

The report showed that 605,000 people who arrived from overseas registered with a doctor in England and Wales last year. This was an increase of over 50 percent in just seven years.

In its report, Migrationwatch said that this places a “significant strain” on services and could force patients to wait longer for appointments and treatment.

In addition, the invasion is further exacerbating the already critical shortage of funds in many NHS trusts — one more example of the taxpaying British people being put last.

According to the report’s conclusions, made after a study of official data provided by NHS Trusts, 536,000 of the 605,000 new registrations were migrants, while the rest are likely to have been Britons returning from overseas.

In his commentary, Migrationwatch chairman Sir Andrew Green, said: “This amounts to an open door to primary care which can also lead to access to secondary care.

“The Government has been dithering while the NHS has been struggling to cope with the extra numbers resulting from mass immigration.

“In present financial circumstances it is surely obvious that we do not have the resources to cope with the extra ten million people now officially projected over the next 25 years — seven million as a result of immigration.”

The insanity of the situation is aggravated by the fact that there are currently no checks in place to determine if a patient is entitled to free healthcare or not. Apparently doctors have discretion to register who they please, which, given the Hippocratic Oath which obliges them to help anybody, puts personnel in an impossible situation.

Dr Richard Fieldhouse, of The National Association of Sessional GPs, was quoted in the media as saying that many of the newly registered immigrants spoke little or no English which added to appointment times.

He said: “We have to draw diagrams. It takes probably 25 to 30 minutes. We want to do everything we can for them.”

Matthew Elliott, of the TaxPayers’ Alliance, was quoted as saying that it was “clearly unacceptable that someone who has paid for the NHS throughout their working life should face delays or queues as a result of recent immigration.”

* According to a 2005 report in the Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons, more than 84 hospitals in California have had to close after they were overwhelmed by illegal immigrants who used the services without contributing.

“The influx of illegal aliens has serious hidden medical consequences,” wrote Madeleine Pelner Cosman, author of the report. “We judge reality primarily by what we see. But what we do not see can be more dangerous, more expensive, and more deadly than what is seen.”

Violence of the left.

The most disturbing thing about the systematic campaign of intimidation and violence against lawful and peaceful BNP election campaigners, which led to the brutal attack on Tony Ward in Leigh yesterday, is that it is openly supported and encouraged by senior Labour and Tory MPs.

The violence is being organised by the Labour Party front group UAF (Unite Against Fascism). At least 57 MPs are named on the UAF’s website as sponsors, and supporters of its thuggery.

BNP Leader Nick Griffin has today challenged these MPs to condemn unequivocally last night’s attack and all other instances of violence and intimidation carried out by UAF thugs. “Many Establishment politicians have recently been demanding that Sinn Fein MPs should condemn the murderous violence perpetrated by dissident republicans”, said Mr Griffin. “But the truth is that Sinn Fein have less control and influence over groups such as the Real IRA than the Labour party in particular has over its close allies and ideological bedfellows in the UAF.

The liberal media often express concern about attacks by government-sponsored thugs in places like Zimbabwe, but there’s really no difference between that and what is happening here. Any establishment politicians who can look at the photograph of Tony Ward’s bloodied face and continue to sponsor the criminal gang responsible for the attack is quite simply inciting further violence.

Millionaires' Row 2009: How hundreds of families get luxury homes on benefits far beyond the means of most working people

Their magnificent townhouse overlooks a courtyard and is in one of the most expensive areas of London.

It has four storeys, six bedrooms (some with balconies), three sitting rooms and four bathrooms - as well as a concierge service.

The property is worth a cool £1.8 million and would cost you or me nearly £1,600 a week to rent.

Stop giving away our money....

India launches first moon mission. So why are we giving them £825m in foreign aid!?

India has successfully launched its first mission to the Moon . The unmanned Chandrayaan 1 spacecraft took off without a hitch from the launch pad in southern Andhra Pradesh. The craft was embarking on a two -year mission that will see the robotic probe orbiting the Moon to investigate the distribution of elements and minerals.

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh hailed the launch as “the first step” in India’s fledgling space programme. India has big hopes for its space programme, hoping to put the first Indian in space by the year 2014 and to launch a manned lunar mission by 2020. The Chandrayaan 1 spacecraft, the first step in India’s ambitious space programme, is expected to cost an estimated £45 million.
The fact that India can embark on such an ambitious, and expensive, space programme whilst millions of her own people are living well below the poverty line has raised some international eyebrows. And the people of Britain may be justified in the odd bit of head scratching when one considers that in January of this year, Gordon Brown gave India £825 million in foreign aid.

The aid package, to be spread over three years, has allocated £500 million to health and education. This generous amount will facilitate the building of 300,000 new classrooms and fund 300,000 new teachers.

The Save the Children charity remarked that the aid package must reach India’s children: “There is a real need to examine how children are looked at in a country that allocates less than 5% of its GDP to children, despite the fact they make up almost 40% of the population.”

One wonders how much of India’s GDP will be allocated to the space programme. Or indeed maintaining its nuclear weapons programme. It is estimated that India has 200 nuclear warheads, 75% of which are assembled whilst the remaining quarter are in sub-assembled position. It is believed that India is looking to expand its nuclear capability in the future.

Leicestershire BNP member on Question Time

Cllr. Peter Cheeseman, a member of Leicestershire BNP tells us about his experience of Question Time (Leicester, Thursday 19th November):

"I applied to join the audience for Question Time when it was on in Leicester; I applied online via the BBC website. It asked many questions: name, age, address and various others, about what political party you stood for and if you where active and so on. As most people are aware I have stood for election before and if Googled many details can be found out quite easily. So here goes..... I filled out all the boxes and pushed the submit button.

Nothing happened for a couple of days so I thought well ...at least I tried.
Ring Ring...My phone. Hello, I answered.
It was the audience department wanting to clarify a few points on my application. Political party? British National Party..Active? yes....that's fine she replied I will send you a ticket..uh, was I hearing correctly I was getting on the show? Yes, she replied and we would like you to submit three questions, one now and two on arrival to the show.

O my God... What do I ask?
I rang around asking if it was OK to go to the show and what shall I ask?
This was sorted on Thursday about three hours before I was due at the studio.

The show was filmed at the Curve theatre, Leicester, I arrived at six with questions tight in my grip, a little hesitant and a whole lot scared! Was I walking into a bear pit like Nick? Well, I was not sure but this did not bother me too much as I was being met outside by fellow Nationalists for a drink after the show.

We where greeted with tea, coffee and biscuits and very pleasant staff both BBC and Curve personnel.
I was searched, as were the other audience members, and after a little R&R we were led into the theatre.

The floor manager introduced himself and explained how the show was to run. There was NO editing of the show so please conduct yourself in a orderly way. Well there's my first question gone..only kidding. H picked five members of the audience and sat them on the panel, put microphones on them and started telling us about silly questions people have asked in the past. They let us debate about other subjects for a while. When David Dimbleby appeared he told us how the format would be and also told us who's questions were to be asked and these people were led away to get wired ready for the show. The panel were introduced to us and a couple of questions put to them prior to filming. We were told we could cheer, boo, hiss and generally be noisy but please no swearing..

As the show progressed many subjects and topics were debated ....What would I say? ... then my chance to voice my opinion... Nerves were not a problem and I felt great and later when some one mentioned he thought immigrants where taking jobs I made my opinion clear by applauding loudly and - not surprisingly - alone.
Many people would have noticed that there was no audience participation granted to debate this as the show was near its end. I had a few comments for them but that will have to be for another day.

I had a main question for the evening ready but was not able to ask it, but thought you might like to hear it anyway... 'With the recent rise in popularity of the British National Party, Would the panel agree this has forced the Labour party into u- turning and the Conservative party to reconsider their stance on immigration?'...

Well there it is my experience of the day a BNP member was allowed into Question Time audience.

Thanks for all who helped and answered questions, and especially Geoff Dickens for allowing me to participate."
